Construction Project management

Once a client has gone ahead with the purchase of a building or piece of land, we can project manage the construction and fit-out of the buildings.

 

For example, we recently carried out a site assessment and structural survey for a group of investors who wanted to buy a building in Dublin 2.

 

As part of that, we investigated the planning to see what options were available in developing the site.

 

This involved talking to professional planners to see what plans were likely to be acceptable to the City Council.

 

We then put together a team to realise the plan.

We appointed an architect and structural engineer, along with quantity surveyors, planning experts and fire consultants.

 

We then project managed that team.

 

In this case, it was decided to keep the façade of the building but demolished the back of it and add 6 new stories. So the client got a building twice the size of the one they bought, fitted out to modern standards.

And, in fact, we are still involved in that building - doing Schedules of Condition for the tenants and Schedules of Dilapidations for the landlord!

 

So we can take it from before the building is bought straight through until the project is complete.
